   By accessing or using the Clique Network platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

   “User” means any individual accessing or using the Service.
   “Content” means text, images, videos, or other materials you post or upload.
   “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Clique Network.
3. Description of Service
   Clique Network provides an online community platform that enables MICE professionals to connect, share insights, and collaborate.
4. User Eligibility
   You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under EU law. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
5. User Accounts
   5.1 Registration: You must register with a valid email address and create a password.
   5.2 Account Security: You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
6. Acceptable Use
   6.1 You agree not to post unlawful, harmful, or infringing Content.
   6.2 You will not harass, defame, or impersonate other Users.
   6.3 You must comply with all applicable EU regulations, including data protection laws.

11. Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
    These Terms and your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be submitted exclusively to the competent courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
13. Changes to Terms
    We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
14. Severability
    If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
